Cinnabar Hills Driving Range features what many consider the “best grass driving range in the Bay Area”. Natural grass hitting surface available over 300 days per year. Mats available Monday-Thursday for turf protection. Consistently praised as superior to other Bay Area facilities​.  There is a short Game Complex with three practice putting greens surrounding the range area, a dedicated chipping area for short game work. Practice bunker for sand shot practice. Stand-alone snack bar serving the practice facility​

Cinnabar Hills is home to the Don Leone Golf Academy, led by Don Leone, the 2012 Northern California PGA Teacher of the Year.​ Don Leone: Level 2 certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) instructor. Bill Condaxis, PGA: Director of Instruction and camp director​ – Private, individual, and group lessons for all skill levels. Variety of golf schools from beginner to experienced veteran. Elite Junior Competitive Program. Corporate outing programs, Online fitness workout regimens through TPI screening with Video analysis capabilities. Lesson Rates: 1 Hour Lesson: $150 and Special: Take 4 lessons, get 5th lesson at half price​

Free parking lot at 23600 McKean Road, San Jose. Large lot near the clubhouse, pro shop, and practice facilities. About 20-30 min drive south of downtown San Jose.
1) Park in lot at 23600 McKean Rd. 2) Walk to driving range (near snack bar and putting greens). 3) Insert credit card into ball dispenser machine at range. 4) Collect balls. 5) Find open spot on tee line (grass Fri-Sat, mats Mon-Thu). More Details: Purchase range balls from the ball dispenser machine at the driving range (accepts credit cards). Pricing not published online – check machine or call (408) 323-7815. Hawk Plus members can add range ball program for $800/year.
