Description
The San Bruno Golf Center offers a variety of amenities making it the #1 choice for golfers of all skill levels. Most noticeable is our 1400 square foot Clubhouse offering soft goods and refreshments. Customers can enjoy the sunshine on our redwood deck that overlooks the practice facility.
A 20,000 square foot grass practice area is now open. It’s one of the largest in the Bay Area. Two large greens offer golfers the opportunity to practice all aspects of their short game: putting, chipping, pitching and sand shots.
38 practice stalls are available on the upper deck of the driving range and 27 covered stalls are available on the lower deck.
There are 10 non-smoking covered stalls on the lower deck. All stalls have individual yardage markers to each of the six greens.
The grass tees are open everyday. Simply visit the pro shop and rent a Yellow Basket. $4 to hit off the grass tees.

Your First Visit (Step-by-Step)
Parking
1) Approach from Sneath Lane: Head west on Sneath Lane toward the hills.
2) Turn into the Entrance: The entrance is located at the first traffic light on the left after passing the I-280 overpass.
3) Enter the Lot: Follow the short entry drive directly into the main parking lot.
4) Select a Spot: Park in any of the approximately 210 available spaces.
Accessibility: Dedicated wheelchair-accessible parking is located near the clubhouse entrance.
The lot is secluded and quiet, flanked by cemeteries.
Parking is free, so there is no need to use the city’s pay-by-plate kiosks found in downtown San Bruno
Buy Balls
Step 1: Before heading to the machines, grab an empty bucket. These are typically stacked near the ball dispensers or the entrance to the hitting stalls.
Step 2: Self-Service (Machines): Automated ball dispensers are located on the property. These machines accept credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments like Apple Pay.
Clubhouse (Cash or Cards): If you prefer to pay with cash or want to buy a Prepaid Range Card, visit the pro shop inside the clubhouse
How You Get Balls

Find a Mat / Bay / Grass Spot
Step 1: Choose Your Level – Decide which deck fits your mood before you walk out with your bucket:
Lower Deck (Ground Level): Better if you want to stay cool/shaded or if it’s a windy day. This is also where the non-smoking stalls are located.
Upper Deck: Great for a “bird’s-eye view” of your ball flight and tends to have more open stalls if the facility is busy.
Step 2: Walk down the row of stalls. An “open” bay is simply one that doesn’t have a golf bag, a bucket of balls, or a person standing in it.
Step 3: Set Your “Claim” – Place your golf bag in the stand or leaning against the back bench. Set your bucket of balls down on the ground near the front of the mat. (Pro Tip: If you need to run back to your car or the restroom, leaving your bag or bucket in the stall is the universal signal that the spot is “taken.”)
Step 4: Check the Mat Direction – Most stalls are set up for right-handed hitters by default. If you are a lefty, look for the stalls that have enough clearance or specific mat configurations to accommodate your swing without hitting the divider poles.
